L HAZARD / PRACTICAL GUIDES
Keep your subscription renewals in view.
A practical checklist for reviewing the software and digital services your business uses, before the next term begins.
Start with a clear service record
Record the service name, provider, plan, billing period and person responsible for it. Keep the accepted order and applicable terms with your records. A monthly charge does not always mean a monthly commitment: the billing schedule and contract term can differ.
In your L Hazard account, My subscriptions brings together the records available for your services. Your orders and billing records provide additional context. Check the provider named in each order when you need to understand who delivers the underlying service.
Review the next renewal date and method
Check whether the plan renews automatically or needs a manual action. Confirm the notice period, the relevant date and any provider requirements in your accepted order. Set time aside before that deadline to decide whether the service still fits your needs.
Your account overview shows upcoming renewals for active services. Download calendar creates a private calendar file with a reminder three days before the renewal date. Import it into your own calendar app. A reminder is a planning aid; it does not cancel, renew or change a subscription, and three days may be shorter than your contractual notice period.
Check seats, access and billing details
For a supported seat-based plan, review who has access and whether the assigned seats still match your team. A change to access and a change to billed seat quantity may have different effects, so check the plan before making a decision.
Review the currency, recurring price and any tax or setup items shown in the order or invoice. Contact support if a date, charge or service status does not look right. Include the service name and order reference, but never share a password, verification code or API key.
Use the correct cancellation route
Stopping the next automatic renewal, cancelling an existing contract and closing an account are separate requests. Read the terms that apply to your service and the cancellations and refunds policy. Closing your account is not a substitute for a confirmed service cancellation.
If you are unsure which action is required, open a support case before the relevant deadline and keep the reply with your records. Availability, cancellation rights and fulfilment depend on the actual provider, plan and order terms.
